About Our Practice

Our practice has been providing eye care services to the community for 25 yrs. In 2000 my passion for children's vision grew and I subsequently completed post-graduate studies and attended Pediatric Optometry congresses to be able to offer various specialized children’s vision services. Our practice sees patients of all ages from as young as 3yrs to 94yrs.

Comprehensive Eye Examinations

We provide a range of eye examinations. Having your eyes tested regularly can also result in early detection of a serious health risk. Our aim is to make clear and comfortable vision a reality for all our patients based on each patient’s needs.

Visual Acuity Tests

This test is used to measure the sharpness and clarity of your vision. Testing both your near and distance vision using eye charts and different lenses we can determine how to improve your vision.

Frame Selection and Assistance

Frames are more than just corrective eyewear; they become part of your daily appearance. Our team are here to help choose the perfect frame to meet your needs and preferences.

Contact Lens Consultation

Starting with an eye health assessment we can determine if you are able to wear Contact Lenses. Once you are cleared you are fitted and the particular types of lenses are discussed to determine the best option for your lifestyle.

Frame and Spectacle Adjustments and Repairs

From time to time you may want your Frames adjusted or repaired. Our skilled opticians can adjust the bridge, nose pads and temples to ensure the proper fit to your face.

Learners Eye care Package

We offer special rates for learners. Our learner's eye care package includes a vision and eye health examination plus a complete pair of single-vision spectacles. This service is available on Wednesdays for Learners

Myopia Control

Myopia, also known as shortsightedness, means that you can see more clearly when looking at things close by. Distance vision is blurry. For a young child this can be a hard thing to diagnose (children don’t know how they should see), and an even harder thing to control.

Drivers Licence Screening

Save time at the Traffic Department and let us do your Drivers Licence Screening. You will need to bring a valid Identification Document (ID) along with you. Your screening will be done in co-operation with the National Department of Transport regulations to ensure acceptance.
